Age of War 2 status

Hey! I though I would give a little status update on the game. The coding itself is 70% done. After that, I need to add the FREAKING HUGE content, test it, test it again, and finally, test it. Then, ill have to make sure everything is balanced. The art is about 40% done, but it will move faster when I will start getting on it.

The multiplayer is coming great. I had some bandwidth optimization issues, which will force me to remove the health information on the units in the multiplayer mode, since I only send unit death and not damage. A account system will keep track of your stats and you will be able to store some XP points that will help you unlock special content such as Avatars. You will still be able to play as a guest and jump online in no time.

My predictions are two more months. It could take a little longer. I won't rush this game since it is a dream came true. Everything has to be perfect and top-notch. There is gonna be so much content it will entertain you for hours.

Should be a great game whenever it does come out....you sound very passionate about it! The only tihng I can think of adding is, in the multi-player try and make it so that you cant either use the special weapon attack or if you can, make sure the person cant just defend their castle forcing the other player to send units to their death allowing them to keep upgrading and inevitably evolving faster....cause well that would suck!! haha otherwise I will be the first to play whenever you do release it....and if you need any beta testers I would love to sign up!!!

There's another Maxgames contest on now and the same exponentially large sum of money's at stake. That's just about the most money you can make on a Flash game. I THOUGHT ABOUT entering this game I've bin workin on for a couple months, but can't bring myself to do it for some reason. HOW BOUT YOU?

Also, seriously I agree with what you said don't rush it. I for one would not mind waiting a little longer if it meant the game would be up to perfection. Keep up the awesome work.
