Sounds like the best way to go is making a very similiar game under a different title. Make what's actually Age of War 3 but just call it Army of Ages. Then you can piss off MaxGames (which I will never go to again after seeing this) but keep making games.
-PS You could even just reinvent the Aow series but call it Army of Ages. Make sequels and stuff and make it a bigger and better series

I don't understand how a company can be so selfish and unfair.
As already stated, you can make ANY game you want, as long as it isn't an Age of War sequel. Like every other commenter, I think you should make a similar game with a different name.
Big companies are all just unfair thieves. ( Not that any thieves ARE fair.)
well those guys suck, ut cant u just make a multiplayer expansion? if not, how about make "expansions" as they are not sequels, then if they try to sue, make sure that the expansions aint to far from the original

I have seen legal situations somewhat like this before (not with flash, but franchises.) The best thing to do to release another game is do do something like you suggested, doing something as close to it as the contract allows, possibly simply changing the name to Army of Ages if possible. Make sure you don't break the contract at all, or else it is most assured you will end up in court by the sounds of it.
By doing that you will be able to profit, entertain the general public, be more famous, release something on the iphone as an app, and even piss them off. Good luck Louissi!
louissi, man, age of war, EPIC. Just amazing dude. Its such an addicting game, and with age of war 2, it just gets better. Mulitplayer would have killed the fun in a way, unless there were ranks, and as you level up, newer units/turrets. Ive done coding with a couple things, and it takes forever. But its worth it (Most of the times). Screw max games from top to bottom. Should have done the contract with Kongregate. And im guessing this is the reason why only max games has age of war 2? Go do army of ages. Same consept lol. We SHOULD boycott max games for being idiots. Just my point of view.

Dont worry dude, as we know there'll be thousand gamers will abandoned Max Games. But theres plenty of other big companies/websites like Kongregate, ArmorGames or Stickpage. You just have to make a good damn deal with em. Create a masterpiece and upload it on one of the websites. Show those greedy bastards whos the REAL owner of Age of War. Ignore them. If theres anything that can prevent you from doing anything, that would be fate. Anything happens for a reason dude, both you and me know it. So rise backup and work your ass on a masterpiece that will bring Max Games to its knee and Im sure they'll begging you to work on their company, like that gonna happen. Be strong bro cause we all know in the end justice will be served. Well sort of :P

Max games is such a dick for doing that. No wonder age of war 3 wasn't called that.

Seek a lawyer or legal advice. See if you can find anyway to prove you own Age of War, or disprove that MaxGames don't own it.

IVE GOT IT Army of ages good name keep it here are some Awesome suggestions
7 ages but you can age up by Exp you age up by research and Research level like The first age research lvl 1 (which is what you start with) second age research lvl 3 third age research lvl 6 fourth age research lvl 10 fifth age research lvl 15 sixth age research lvl 21 and seventh age research lvl 28 and don't just make the units walk off straight away make it so you can send to attack defend or retreat Also get outer turrets like the turrets on the base walls and turrets on outer walls i hope you like these ideas and heres my post by the way its a story I wrote and i hope to make it a movie. louissi you inspired me to want to be a
games designer so i thank you :)
