I would just make a better version of the old game, and change the little details so that it isn't technically a sequel/prequel. I'd also make a pretty big deal about what they did, so at least some people wouldn't visit them anymore.
I know it's easier said than done, but the best thing to do is make something even more successful, until they come crawling back to you, and then you can tell them to fuck themselves :)
Well i wasnt saying that YOU didnt read the fine print, i just said in general, artists tend to just fixate on how they will spend the money rather than what getting that money means to their creative outlet. It was just a general comment i guess
Ok, that seems more logical :P. And you are right. Thats why I post my story, to make people realize that you have to be careful and that there are a lot of assholes out there (and thankfully a lot of great people)
Did it say the multiplayer game has to be in the age of war series? because otherwise you might be able to use it...
Maybe you could find a way to release a TECHNICALLY different game, but make it almost the same thing (or at least something similar) so that Max Games wouldn't be able to take you to court, since it's not really Age of War. I don't know if this would work, but I hope I helped by saying this.
P.S. :You are my fav. Flash author, so it pisses me off that Max Games would play dirty like this. I would LOVE to see one of your games like Age of War in the App Store ( I'd buy it for sure! :) ).
